- Access and support for genetic improvement. Increasingly productive varieties, more resistant to diseases and with better technological quality. Varietal innovation is only possible through the certification system.
- Compliance with regulations. To be sold, seeds must be officially certified. The sale and purchase of uncertified seeds is illegal and punishable by law. Unauthorized use of patented varieties is subject to legal action.
- Tracked productions. Traceability improves the valorisation of the harvest and promotes access to supply chain contracts.
- Greater attention to the environment. The use of certified seed allows to comply with eco-conditionality regulations and reduce the use of agrochemicals and fertilizers.
